Welcome to JLA Racing. This page is a little about me and where I started my racing journey.

Car and motorbike racing has always been on the TV in our house thanks to my dad, so I have always been interested in Motorsports.

When I was 9 my dad took me to our local karting track to try out the minimotos they had there, and I loved it. I was then lucky enough to get my own bike and my dad took me to some outdoor tracks, where eventually I got involved in the minimoto series, which took us to different tracks around the country.

I completed one season, then halfway through the next season I had a big crash which resulted in me breaking both of my arms, at which point Mum and Dad said enough.

A few years on, Dad and I started to visit  Castle Combe race track on a regular basis to watch the racing. I had passed my driving test by then and we talked about maybe getting into racing ourselves. We got a track car the following year, and we took part in some track day sessions and action days. I loved it and this is when we decided to take the plunge and try to get our own race car.

I posted on social media, enquiring about the pros and cons of running a race car, and got a reply from Nathan Nicholls at Clip Racing, who were looking for a driver for a second car. We got on well and Nathan invited me to join the team, where I raced in the 2019 Castle Combe Saloon Car Championship. As a newbie I didn't know what to expect, but have had loads of support and help from the team and their sponsors, as well as other drivers and the team at Castle Combe.

For the 2022 season I am now JLA Racing and will once again be competing at Castle Combe in the Saloon Car Championship. It is an exciting time and I can't wait to get started. Look out for us in the paddock and come and say hi.
